Kim & Steve worked with our sales manager Brian Mueller to design a system to meet their specific needs. Net Zero Solar installed their original solar electric system in 2016. They chose to go solar to save money, to have some independence from the electric company, and to control their power bills.
Kim says, “If you don't get solar panels, you're still paying the electric company. To me, the money you spend on solar earns 1% in the bank account, but it earns $400 a month on your roof. We haven't paid an electric bill since 2016."
They appreciated Brian's consultative and careful approach to designing a system, saying “I think there's a lot of thought put into what you need, how much you need. [Net Zero Solar] is not going to oversell you. I felt so comfortable with their honesty and how they operate."
In 2016, Steve & Kim upgraded their system to take advantage of new technology and provide capacity for an electric car in the future. Steve says, “At some point, we're going to get an electric car. I just wanted to make sure we have enough energy."
We make the process of going solar as easy as possible. Reflecting on their experience with Net Zero Solar for the original installation and addition, Kim says “They did everything with the HOA, they did everything with TEP, and we've had zero problems."
When asked about our in-house installation team, Kim shared “They were great. They were courteous and they were very organized. They knew what they were doing. They got up there, got everything done with no delays."
Brian reflected, “That's our goal! As a small local business, it's about transparency, honesty, and taking care of customers. Because customers like you are a lifeline."
Kim agrees, “You guys take care of your people. You do keep in touch. And I wish more people could appreciate how easy it is to go solar. I mean, we live in the sunniest state and it's powerful to use the sun to create your energy. We have no regrets ever!"
