We are often able to “adopt” and provide repairs and maintenance for existing “orphaned” solar electric systems when another solar installer has gone out of business. We can do this when the systems use Enphase microinverters and/or Enphase batteries, and are in our service area.

This is available in our service area which includes all of Tucson, Oro Valley, Catalina, Saddlebrooke, Sahuarita, Green Valley, Vail, Tubac, Sierra Vista, Dragoon, Huachuca City, Mount Lemmon, Saint David, Sonoita, Tumacacori, Amado, and Rio Rico, and portions of Marana, Benson, Bisbee, Elgin, Hereford, Oracle, Patagonia, and Three Points.

Policies and procedures for service of existing Enphase systems not installed by Net Zero Solar

• Net Zero Solar will only adopt/service systems with Enphase Energy microinverters and energy storage; we do not service SolarEdge equipment, we do not service Tesla equipment, and we do not service other non-Enphase brands of equipment.
• Payment for the evaluation is due at completion of the inspection.
• No repairs or service to be done to any system before a system evaluation is completed.
• The evaluation includes a report detailing any required and recommended repairs, with a cost to make each of those repairs. This report will be emailed to you within three business days of the inspection.
• All required repairs for safety and code compliance must be repaired before Net Zero Solar adopts a system. These required repairs can be completed alongside any requested maintenance such as inverter replacements. You can choose to have recommended repairs completed if you wish. 
• Net Zero Solar is happy to provide estimates for Enphase battery additions to existing systems with Enphase microinverters. Although we still require an evaluation of the system and completion of any required repairs, the evaluation fee will be refunded to you if you sign a contract to add batteries.
• We can also provide estimates for adding more capacity to solar electric systems.

Receiving an Evaluation of the Existing System

To schedule a comprehensive evaluation of your existing solar electric system, please submit the request below. The cost for an evaluation is $375.00 in the Tucson area, which includes Oro Valley, Marana, Vail, Green Valley, & Sahuarita, or $475.00 outside the Tucson Area. There is an additional $100.00 charge for any system that includes batteries.
