We are often able to “adopt” and provide repairs and maintenance for existing “orphaned” solar electric systems when another solar installer has gone out of business. We can do this when the systems use Enphase microinverters and storage products and are in our service area, subject to current capacity.

This is available in our service area which includes all of Tucson, Oro Valley, Catalina, Saddlebrooke, Sahuarita, Green Valley, Vail, Tubac, Sierra Vista, Dragoon, Huachuca City, Mount Lemmon, Saint David, Sonoita, Tumacacori, Amado, and Rio Rico, and portions of Marana, Benson, Bisbee, Elgin, Hereford, Oracle, Patagonia, and Three Points.

Policies and procedures for service of existing Enphase systems not installed by Net Zero Solar

• Net Zero Solar will only service systems with Enphase Energy microinverters and energy storage; we do not service other brands of inverters or energy storage products.
• No repairs or service to be done to any system before an evaluation is completed
• All safety defects must be repaired before any maintenance is completed
• The system must be brought up to current code (or at evaluator discretion, code at time of system installation)
• System must be brought to Net Zero Solar standards, at discretion of evaluator
• Evaluation charge includes a written report detailing any required repairs, along with a bid for those repairs, or referral to other contractor(s)

Receiving an Evaluation of the Existing System

To schedule a comprehensive evaluation of your existing solar electric system, please submit the request below. The cost for an evaluation is $375.00 in the Tucson area, which includes Oro Valley, Marana, Vail, Green Valley, & Sahuarita, or $475.00 outside the Tucson Area. There is an additional $100.00 charge for any system that includes energy storage.

Payment for the evaluation is due at completion of the inspection, the full report will be delivered to the customer within five business days electronically.
